During 25th & 26th of February , the ArtMED project team met for the 3rd TPM at Ecole Centrale Lyon to assess the project progress and plan ArtMED’s second year. The discussions were pivotal in refining our approach to on-demand and autonomous mobility solutions across Europe.
A Major Milestone: The ArtMED Web-Based Assessment Tool
A highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of our web-based tool, designed to support public authorities in evaluating the feasibility of on-demand and autonomous services in their regions. This tool will generate an initial service design estimate, offering insights into fleet sizing and key performance indicators (KPIs) tailored to each local use case. Stay tuned for its official release!
From Concept to Design: Interactive Workshop for Public Transport Authorities
Building on this milestone, project partners engaged in a design thinking workshop focused on early-stage service design. Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) had the opportunity to explore and develop initial drafts of their mobility solutions, leveraging the insights provided by our newly developed tool.
Expert Insights: Connecting Research with Real-World Applications
We were also honored to welcome Philippe GACHE and Marine THOMASSON from CARA Transport & Mobility Systems. Their expertise in French autonomous freight initiatives provided valuable perspectives, helping partners align their use cases with cutting-edge industry developments.
With these key advancements, ArtMED is moving forward toward a future of smarter, more sustainable mobility across Europe. Exciting developments lie ahead—watch this space!
