During March 20-21, 2024, the ArtMED consortium had their kick-off meeting in Postojna, Slovenia. This meeting was a great opportunity to work on the future transport plans of the 4 Public (Transport) Authorities (PTAs) involved in the project.
Over the course of the 2 days, the consortium actively worked on developing the preliminary roadmaps for the integration and deployment of Autonomous Mobility on Demand (AMOD) to address the urgent public transport challenges of improving the business case for providing transport for:
- children commuting to school,
- the elderly,
- people with reduced mobility, and
- people living in rural areas.
The partnership worked on configuring the first steps for developing the AMOD tool, beginning all project activities, and establishing a fruitful collaboration.
