We are excited to announce the release of ArtMEDs first newsletter, offering a comprehensive update on our groundbreaking work to revolutionize public transportation in the Euro-MED area through Autonomous Mobility on Demand (AMOD) technologies. This inaugural edition showcases our mission to support Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) in planning and implementing sustainable and inclusive transport solutions.

Key updates include the development of an AMOD impact assessment tool designed to aid PTAs in creating effective mobility strategies and investment plans. Additionally, we have crafted comprehensive mobility strategies for regions such as Lombardy (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Palaio Faliro (Greece), and Postojna (Slovenia).

The newsletter also highlights our recent kick-off meetings, including the consortium’s first in-person gathering in Postojna, Slovenia, and our participation in Turin’s Green Living Areas Thematic Projects Kick-off event. Moreover, it introduces the AMOD Best Practices Collection, a valuable resource for transport planners and decision-makers, featuring the latest advancements in On-Demand Transport and Automated Vehicles for Public Transport.
