As part of the ArtMED project’s commitment to promoting sustainability across Mediterranean regions, the Municipality of Postojna, represented by Denis Kresevič, participated in two key events during the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels: Small Cities, Big Impact and the Green Living Areas Mission’s 1st Institutional Policy Dialogue, on October 10th, 2024.
The sessions focused on sustainable urban mobility and renewable energy as transformative tools for local development. Key takeaways included innovative approaches like hydrogen ferries and digital simulations to foster citizen engagement in mobility planning. Equally inspiring were initiatives, showcasing how public-private partnerships and community participation can drive impactful renewable energy projects.
